Secret of living married life peacefully

A person came before Kabirdas by asking way of overcoming the frequent quarrel with his wife. Hearing this, kabirdas asks him to sit by side of him as he was trying to remove some clots in thread-bundle. He suddenly called his wife to bring a lamp with light there. She without questioning brought a light there. He further asked two cup of milk for him and the visitor.Wife of kabir brought that also and gave the milk to Kabir and the visitor. Both drunk the milk but the person came with question puzzled that the milk was containing salt instead of sugar. Without asking or criticizing Kabir drank the milk. After swallowing the milk the visitor also, tried to go out. Kabir asked him why?. He replied,'Ji, I came here with a question how to solve my family quarrel but I understand the reply from your and your wife's action. Though there are enough light, you have asked your wife to bring a lamp, without telling or questioning she brought. On the milk she brought for you and me contained with salt instead of sugar but you drank without any question or sprinkle in your face. This adjustment and understanding is lack in us and I will correct ourselves.' So, the mere understanding is helpful a lot in running a family with utmost peace. The wife as well husband should respect the action of other by believing that there must be some reason in the action of other.

Awareness

“What is seen is not the Truth
What is cannot be said
Trust comes not without seeing
Nor understanding without words
The wise comprehends with knowledge
To the ignorant it is but a wonder
Some worship the formless God
Some worship his various forms
In what way He is beyond these attributes
Only the Knower knows
That music cannot be written
How can then be the notes
Say Kabir, awareness alone will overcome illusion.”

Breath Inside The Breath

“Are you looking for me?
I am in the next seat.
My shoulder is against yours.
you will not find me in the stupas,
not in Indian shrine rooms,
nor in synagogues,
nor in cathedrals:
not in masses,
nor kirtans,
not in legs winding around your own neck,
nor in eating nothing but vegetables.
When you really look for me,
you will see me instantly —
you will find me in the tiniest house of time.
Kabir says: Student, tell me, what is God?
He is the breath inside the breath.”
